How can I get to the lan?

What speed PC would you recommend?
AMD/Intel 3.0GHz or there abouts.
Minimum 1GB Ram
X800 / 6600 GT or above
I’m not sure my PC is up to it, Can I hire one?
Yes a limited number are available to the minimum specs above. If you require one we need to known ASAP.
What Games do you play?
CS all versions
CoD 4
UT 2004
Quake III
BF 2
Company of Heroes
Track mania
Serious Sam 1 & 2
Command & Conquer series
All games are welcome.
Do I need to set up my computer for the LAN?
Update all games and operating system. Make sure all servers etc that you run are disabled for the LAN. This includes Internet sharing.
What PC equipment do I need to bring?
PC, Monitor, Mouse & keyboard, AC power cords (no multiway needed) headphones (NO SPEAKERS ALLOWED) and any game you want to play.
What other items do I need to bring?
If you are sleeping at the LAN you will need:
Sleeping bag or duvet
Camping matt
Pillow
Change of clothes
Wash kit e.g. toothbrush & deodorant
Entry and spending money
Do you have an Internet connection?
Yes, business Internet connection for Internet & email.
Can I take speakers?
NO
Am I allowed to bring two computers?
Yes, you will need to pay an additional fee for a space. Contact us for more information
Is there a wireless LAN?
Yes, Internet & email.
Can I arrive a little early?
Doors open at 10:00am Saturday. Please contact us if you do need to arrive earlier.
Where can I sleep?
We have a separate rest area on the top floor of the building set aside.
Are there Showers?
Yes, male & female showers and changing rooms are available.
Is there a bar at the event?
Yes details to be confirmed.
How much does the LAN cost?
The rate does change depending on venue typically between £10.00 - £25.00 for 24 Hours.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made via pay pal. Please note you will not be allowed to set up your computer until payment has been made.
